Mobile police surgery in your area

In the last couple of days members of the Oswestry Rural South Safer Neighbourhood Team have been visiting several local villages in the Mobile Police Station. Our aim with this to is visit some of our harder to reach communities and allow residents to raise any issues or concerns that they think are important. We are always happy to talk, listen and discuss any issues that are raised, and set up and take the appropriate action. 

The main issue raised was speeding. This is something we do take seriously and have a range a tools and tactics for tackling this.  We are also due to receive training in a new piece of speed enforcement equipment and this will impact greatly on our capability of dealing with speeding motorists.
